Based in Balsall Common, I am committed to helping people change. I specialise in Anxiety and Stress as a close family member suffered from anxiety and panic attacks from being a young child. I saw the devastating effect this had on their education, work life and social life and also on the lives of their family. I knew that making a difference to this would be fantastic and developed my knowledge and understanding of the subject.
I am a great believer that people continue to grow and change throughout their lives. My journey to becoming a hypnotherapist was a journey of self development and discovery. Having a logical and practical mind I launched my career in engineering. Moving into management, with a well known communications company, I progressed into the coaching and training arena, coaching managers on how to increase productivity. It was at this time I decided I wanted to move into a career that was more caring and I retrained as an IT teacher.
After 10 years working in Bournemouth and working my way up the ladder I moved to the midlands and into the more specialist area of working with students who had been excluded from mainstream school. Throughout my career I had become interested in hypnotherapy, emotional intelligence and NLP. I have persistently used self hypnotherapy to support my career development and control my weight. I was able to increase my confidence and assertiveness, from being a shy introvert to becoming Assistant Head in a challenging learning centre.
Becoming A Hypnotherapist
Finally I decided to retrain and launch my own business, so that I could share my learning and help others make the kind of changes I was able to achieve. So if you need a practical, problem solving hypnotherapist then please give me a call to discuss how I can help you. As I am registered with the GSHC, you can be assured that I keep my training and insurance up to date.
